Large vertical print in a black wood frame with chamfered corners, depicting a black ink-style illustration on a cream/sepia background of a steel-helmeted soldier in full field kit advancing with a shouldered rifle and fixed bayonet, with barbed wire rendered in the foreground. The numeral '1918' is printed in large bold black type at the bottom, and the USMC Eagle, Globe, and Anchor emblem is visible in the lower right of the image area alongside what appears to be an artist's signature. The print is glazed and corner-protected with cardboard shipping protectors still in place.
