Large-format United States two dollar Legal Tender note. The face is printed in black and red, bearing the text 'Act of March 3rd 1863,' 'Series of 1917,' 'Two Dollars,' 'United States Note,' and the red serial number 06556493350A printed twice; a portrait vignette of a man appears at upper centre, a building vignette at centre-left, two facsimile signatures are visible, and a red ornate seal with 'Washington D.C.' appears at lower left alongside a black numeral '2' counter. The reverse is printed entirely in green, featuring a large central '2' within a circular 'United States of America' legend, flanked by ornate lathework rosettes and corner numerals.
